Eighteen years ago, I decided to design a tour ‘ for those who would never take a tour’. Thus began our journey of the beautiful Italian regions of Tuscany and Umbria, and then of Ireland and San Miguel de Allende – places I know well, having lived in each for several years.
I continue my love of travel in these tours, only now I bring along a small group of ‘friends’. I am privileged to now have a lovely following of people from all over the U.S. who simply call to ask, “Where are we going this year?” Local knowledge means I know exactly who to work with in order to bring you the best of everything.
The atmosphere of our trips is relaxed and convivial. Our carefully crafted tours include a good range of all that can be experienced and enjoyed: art, history, food, music, street life, atmosphere and much more. We avoid rushed schedules and overly arranged days. We never take more than 12 per group, so we can enjoy aspects of travel unavailable to large tour groups and mass tourism. We stay in private villas, castles, manor homes….We eat in good, authentic restaurants and enjoy getting off the well-trodden tourist path. Furthermore, we encourage each guest to explore at times on their own. We are always close by should you need us!
